The practice is open for full level of service and we are working through a large backlog.

The changes to our NHS contract and the recall guidelines, if you are an NHS patient it is unlikely you will receive more than 1 NHS examination and course of treatment per year, unless you are high risk of disease progression.

A scale & polish is no longer an NHS item. It can be provided on the NHS but only if you require it for gum disease. Superficial scaling and stain removal can be provided on a private basis.

We are screening patients before entrance into the practice. If you answer 'Yes' to any of the screening questions (such as testing positive for Covid-19, or waiting for a test result, or been a close contact) then your appointment will need to be reschduled unless you are suffering with a dental emergency ie uncontrollable bleeding, facial swelling or severe dental trauma.

Most covid restrictions have now lifted in Wales but you are still advised to wear a face covering in health care settings.
